I have always loved weddings.

When I was 17 I got my first opportunity in the creative wedding industry when I began working for an amazing wedding videographer. It opened my eyes to all the possibilities of using my creative eye in a career. I had always loved photography, web and graphic design, so I decided to start down a new path: wedding photographer.

I love to hear all about your wedding from how you met, got engaged, and all the fun wedding details in between. I want you to know that I care about photographing you in the best way possible, so therefore I try to get to know you. I want to walk into your wedding not only as a photographer, but as a friend.

The love and romance of weddings inspires me each and every time to create artistic portraits the couple will cherish for years. Stylistically, I believe taking a photo journalistic approach when shooting a wedding is the best way to capture real moments from your special day. In the future, I want you to look back at your photos and relive those special moments as if it was your wedding day all over again.

Alison and Grant’s Wedding │ Sundial Beach Resort │ Sanibel Island Wedding Photographer

A couple months ago we photographed Alison and Grant’s Sanibel Island destination wedding. When we arrived we had plenty of time to capture some great photos before the ceremony. We always love photographing destination weddings on Sanibel Island because most of the time everyone is calm and laid back like Alison and Grant. We were happy to provide the bride and groom with the slideshow below which they played at the reception back home.

Allison and John’s Wedding- Sanibel Island Wedding Photographer

It was such a blast from beginning to end to photograph Allison and John’s wedding. Their ceremony at Chapel by the Sea was packed with family and friends who supported them in their union as husband and wife. After the ceremony everyone headed over to the reception at the beautiful Sanctuary Golf Club on Sanibel Island. There were stories told between guests and at the toasts that showed how much love the two families shared for the Allison and John, including some hilarious toasts by both fathers of the newlyweds. There was even a lizard hiding out in Allison’s dress during the maid of honor’s toast, which made for some hearty laughs!!! We were glad that the dance floor was packed most of the night because that is where we can really get some great candid shots. We hope that Allison and John continue to feel as blessed as they were on their wedding day.

South Seas Island Resort Family Portrait

We had such an easy-going time with Tiffany and her family out on South Seas Island Resort. They were all pleasure to photograph and we even took some family photos with Santa hats!!! We hope they had a great time while vacationing in Florida and that they will come back soon.
