All that I can say is that I can’t wait to photograph Alicia and Bradd’s wedding on February 7th.
I always tell my brides that I am open to any of their unique and personal ideas. Alicia and Bradd had told me that they wanted to do their engagement session on a sailboat. I was so excited to do something fun and different with them and gladly encouraged their idea.
We started the night out at Bayfront. This was my first time at this location and I immediately fell in love with all the colors and textures. Alicia arrived looking so cute in her summer dress along with Bradd escorting her with a smile on his face. My favorite photos at this location were right in the middle of buildings with all the glowing trees.
Our next stop was the sailboat. We were nervous at first to see what kind of sailboat it was going to be. It turned out to be perfect. Once we settled on the sailboat we were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunshine day. Jay (the owner of the sailboat) dropped me off onto a dock to get a few distant shots. After that we headed out to the gulf for some sunset photos. Jay and his sailing friend had all of us staring at the sun waiting for the green flash. It was funny since they were explaining that “today is the kind of day you would see it”. We all stared…. nothing happened. Oh well, we saw dolphins! Which was good enough for me.
