I have always loved weddings.

When I was 17 I got my first opportunity in the creative wedding industry when I began working for an amazing wedding videographer. It opened my eyes to all the possibilities of using my creative eye in a career. I had always loved photography, web and graphic design, so I decided to start down a new path: wedding photographer.

I love to hear all about your wedding from how you met, got engaged, and all the fun wedding details in between. I want you to know that I care about photographing you in the best way possible, so therefore I try to get to know you. I want to walk into your wedding not only as a photographer, but as a friend.

The love and romance of weddings inspires me each and every time to create artistic portraits the couple will cherish for years. Stylistically, I believe taking a photo journalistic approach when shooting a wedding is the best way to capture real moments from your special day. In the future, I want you to look back at your photos and relive those special moments as if it was your wedding day all over again.

So we have be a little behind on our blogging since we’ve been pretty busy lately. Here are a couple of portraits we want you to see from a few months ago…

Kathleen and Grant’s engagement was a pleasure to shoot. They are such a sweet couple and enjoyed themselves in front of the camera. Plus, we got to photograph them in the beautiful Venice area of Florida.

This family portrait is one of the biggest so far that we have photographed. Everyone was so nice to us and cooperated like they were professionals!!!

These two boys were so adorable during their portraits. They were probably one of the better behaved children we have photographed thus far!!! We hope they had as much fun as we did that day. We were also glad we could take a few of them with their mom and grandmother.

Sally and Mark’s Engagement Session – Fort Myers Wedding Photographer

The Beach was pretty windy out when we did Sally and Mark’s engagement session recently, but it was still pretty fun. We took them around the boardwalk so as to be a little shielded from the wind by the trees surrounding. They were so positive about the experience and we enjoyed it as well. We can’t wait for their wedding this May at Edison and Ford Winter Estates and Royal Palm Yacht Club!!!!

Jessica and Damen’s Engagement Session at Lakes Park – Fort Myers Photographer

It’s always inspiring to try out new places for engagement shoots. We had to redirect our engagement shoot with Jessica and Damen from downtown Ft. Myers, but it was a blessing in disguise!!! We arrived at Lakes Park and the weather was just great, but what was even better were the colorful skies over Lakes Park. Jessica and Damen were so comfortable with each other and it definitely shows in the photographs. We are going somewhere new for their wedding too. They are getting married in Tampa at the Davis Islands Garden Club this April and we look forward to photographing their wedding!!!
