Mandy and Chris’ Wedding – Fort Myers Wedding Photographer

Mandy and Chris are some of the nicest people I know. They decided to take all of their photos prior to the ceremony so that they could spend more time with their guests after the ceremony. This allowed us to take advantage of the Edison and Ford Winter Estates gorgeous scenery. Their ceremony took place at the Royal Palm Allee. I love the long aisle through the palm trees. It make for some dramatic photos. After their ceremony they were able to go straight to their reception with all of their family and friends. I was told that in Pennsylvania it is a tradition to have a cookie table before the reception instead of the common cheese/crackers/fruit trays. All of the cookies were made by Mandy’s family from up North and brought down for the wedding. Since Mandy is a Pastry Chef at Norman Love Confections all of their favors were DELICIOUS handmade chocolates. I loved all the little details that she put together. She kept the round blue and brown circles theme throughout the whole wedding. Chris works for a catering company so they had a very unique buffet. It featured all different kinds of food from Chinese, American, Italian and more.

Here are a few of my favorites from their wedding…

Grace and Emma’s Portraits – Fort Myers Photographer

I have been wanting to take some photos with pettiskirts for a while. So I ordered two of them, one purple for little girls and one pink for toddlers. I met my cousins at a park to take some photos of little Grace and Emma. These two girls are so funny. You can really see their personalities in these photos.

Gina and Wesley Engaged – Punta Gorda Photographer

When Gina told me of her idea to use a canoe for their engagement I was all for it. I love it when my clients come up with fun and unique ideas! Some of the photos on the canoe actually remind me of the movie “The Notebook”. Too bad we didn’t have the birds!

Then we left the park to go downtown for some sunset portraits. Come to find out I was not the only photographer there at sunset, because it was homecoming night for the local high schools. We ended up having one of the most beautiful sunsets that night. I’m really excited about Gina and Wesley’s wedding this December at the Grandezza Country Club!
