Captiva Wedding

Kristen and Todd married on November 15, 2008 on Captiva Island. They had a small beautiful ceremony involving their close family members. My favorite part was when they read their letters to eachother. Once they became husband and wife, we took some fun photos of them by themselves. Everyone could see the love they shared when they looked at eachother. They both could not stop smiling and giggling as it hit them that they were now married. I had a great time photographing Kristen and Todd. I wish them the best of luck for their future together.

Here are a few of my favorites…

Do you like Kristen’s dress? Guess what. She made it herself! I love it!

You can really see how happy they were in this photo…

The flags in the background of this photo are just perfect since Kristen is Canadian and Todd is American!

Brendan and Katie’s Wedding - PREVIEW

On November 8, 2008 I photographed Brendan and Katie’s wedding at the Hilton of Naples, FL.
We started the day at Abracadabra Salon photographing the girls getting their hair and make-up done. Once they were ready, we drove to the Hilton where the ceremony and reception were held. Since Brendan and Katie decided to see each other before the ceremony, we were able to take all of the formal group photos before the ceremony. This is a great idea when you really want to spend time with your guests at your cocktail hour and whole reception.
Brendan and Katie had a very fun crowd at the reception. I don’t think I remember a time when people were not dancing.

I truly enjoyed photographing their wedding!
CONGRATULATIONS BRENDAN AND KATIE!

Charles and Nicole - PROPOSAL!

Nicole and I have been best friends our ENTIRE lives. When Charles asked me to be a part of his proposal I was ecstatic!

On November 10, 2008 Charles came to my house to hide the ring in my bag. He went to Nicole’s house to get ready for the “portrait”. The whole time we had Nicole thinking that this session was for me since I got a new lense and have never shot a portrait on Fifth Avenue (Naples).

We started to take some portraits along Fifth Avenue and then headed to Cambier Park for a couple more photos. I told her that I wanted to take some photos of her by herself. I had Charles take my bag to “put it on the bench” behind her. While I was taking photos of Nicole, Charles was pulling out the ring. I invited Charles back into the photo. He said he had an “idea” for a photo. Nicole was at first confused then extremely happy. I was crying right along with them, but still managed to photograph some of my FAVORITE photos. After she said yes we started to walk around and take “engagement photos”.

I am sooooo happy for Charles and Nicole. They are the cutest and most perfect couple I know. I mean that, they are ment for eachother in every way. I can not wait for their wedding, it will be so special!

Crawford Family

This past weekend I met my cousins Ashton, Bubba and Colt at The Hut Restaurant. I started to take some photos of Colt by himself. He was just too cute. He had so many funny facial expressions. After we finished his portraits they changed into some Christmas clothes. We took a few more of Colt and his parents. I am so glad I had the opportunity to photograph their whole family.

Here are a few of my favorites from their session…
